Shipping Packages to Marina

For "Yachts in Transit" that are staying at Shelter Bay Marina, we can assist you in shipping packages to our marina. For large shipments we can arrange cargo to be shipped by sea, but for smaller packages up to 70 pounds we can have them shipped through our freight forwarder in Miami Florida directly to Panama City. From Panama City the packages must clear customs and we arrange to pick up the packages.   Please contact us for the lastest shipping information and addresses.

The shipping rates  for our Freight Forwarder are aproximately;
AIR FREIGHT;  $2.50 per pound plus an Aduana (Customs) fee of $5 per package and any other import Custom fees (typically 1% of the declared value). The additional cost to bring the package from Panama City to Shelter Bay Marina will depend on the package size/weight.    

OCEAN FREIGHT; aproximately $1.50 per pound, but depends on the consolidation of the packages. 

It typically takes 5 - 7 business days to receive the AIR FREIGHT package in Panama City from Miami. Your tracking number used to ship the package to Miami is also used to track it from Miami to Panama City, so please provide us that number if you have a question on your package.
You must attach a bill of lading declaring the value or commercial invoice on the side of the package for the Aduana (Customs) office in order to export items into Panama.
Please notify us if you intend to have a package sent to our "freight forwarder".  This advanced notice will speed up the proccess of getting the packages through customs.

If you choose, you can also send packages directly to our door using FedEx.
