The marina provides free transportation to "Cuatro Altos" shopping center in our air conditioned 27 passenger bus at 8:00am Monday through Fridays. The bus leaves from the shopping center at 11:30am to return back to the marina.

There are two large supermarkets chains in Colon, namely, Rey at the Cuatro Altos shopping center and Super 99 located in the 2000 (Dos Mil) shopping center. Both super markets are well stocked and modern. Generally speaking the meat and produce are of higher quality at the Rey market. The Super 99 has lower prices on canned goods and does have some specialty items not found in Rey. Mega-Depot is next to the Super 99 store that is on the highway leading away from Colon towards Sabanitas. They stock many items sold in large quantities such as big bags of dried cranberries, nuts, spices and frozen foods. No membership is needed and they have free delivery with orders over $200.

Inquire with the store manager at Rey and Super 99 and ask if you qualify for free delivery of you and your purchases back to the marina, purchases of at least $300. Rey also offers a shopping service. Ask the manager for the latest details on both these services.

Very fresh veggies and meat can be purchased at the Central Mercado in downtown Colon. If you plan to do this it is advisable to have your taxi driver accompany you through the market as you shop.

If you are searching for hardware items there is a new Novey Hardware located in the Millennium Plaza across from Burger King just before entering Colon.

If you want to stock up on liquor, buying it duty free in the “Free Zone” is another option.

The Panama City Mega Depot store will also do free pick up and deliver for groups. You will find Wall Mart type items.
Panama City – Riba Smith has at least 5 locations and is considered the best for hard to find items and U.S. imports.
Pricemart has 3 locations in PC and one in David. This is a Cosco type store which has excellent meat, salmon and other deli products. Good prices on wine and liquor. Pricemart no longer gives day passes. You will need to use a taxi driver that has a pass or buy a yearly pass for $35.

Bal Harbor Plaza in Punta Patilla area has a number of specialty stores in the area. This area is across Balboa, from Multi-Centro Mall. Fruteria Mini Max is in Bal Harbor Plaza on Via Italia Centro Commercial.
Felipe Motta Wine & Cheese Store –near Patilla Hospital.
Mercado de Mariscos is located at the end of Balboa Ave. and the top place in town to find fresh caught seafood.
