Shelter Bay Marina

Shelter Bay Marina is a perfect place to prepare your boat for a canal transit, haul your boat for a bottom job or insurance survey or leave your boat in our dry storage yard while you explore inland or return home. Perhaps you are simply taking a break from cruising and want a safe, hurricane free location to keep your boat. Whatever the reason, we at Shelter Bay Marina welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Shelter Bay Marina offers an unspoiled natural setting with easy access to Colon and Panama City. Featuring slips for vessels up to 245 feet, in an "all weather" protected bay.  Shelter Bay is in a controlled access area, providing the best security for you and your boat.

The marina provides free transportation to "Cuatro Altos" shopping center in our air conditioned 27 passanger bus at 8:00am Monday through Fridays. The bus leaves from the shopping center at 11:15 am to return back to the marina.

FUTURE PLANS AT SHELTER BAY MARINA

The future looks exciting.   We plan to begin construction on another dock this year  to service mega yachts up to 220 feet.  Our dry storage/work yard has been expanded to accommodate 120 boats on the hard and we are in the process of aquiring additional land to double the current size of the boatyard.  Construction has also begun on our new offices and hotel rooms/cruiser lounge and computer area.  We anticipate completion of our hotel rooms in December 2008.
